1. Our Minimalist Privacy Philosophy

The Le Roi du Monde ecosystem is built on editorial respect and quiet luxury. We do not use intrusive advertising networks, third-party behavioral trackers, cross-site profiling pixels, or fingerprinting scripts.

We use only essential functional cookies required to render pages correctly and anonymous measurement cookies when authorized.

2. Essential Functional Cookies (No Consent Required)

These cookies and storage items are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the websites (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) exemption):

lrdm_consent_v2 (Local Storage): Records whether you accepted or declined optional analytics measurement.
NEXT_LOCALE / preferred_lang (Cookie/Header): Remembers your chosen reading language (en, fr, de, nl) without storing any personal identifier.

Default State: 'analytics_storage', 'ad_storage', 'ad_user_data', and 'ad_personalization' are initialized to 'denied' on every initial request.
Opt-in Activation: Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are deposited only after you click 'Accept' on our consent banner.
IP Anonymization: IP addresses are masked at collection and never written to disk or linked to identifiable individuals.
Zero Cross-Domain Commercial Ad Targeting: We disable all ad personalization signals across our domains.
