1. Nature of the Heritage Archives
Le Roi du Monde and its themed publications (Le Roi du Château, Le Roi du Jardin, Le Roi du Voyage, Le Roi du Village, Le Roi du Vin, Le Roi du Patrimoine, Le Roi des Batailles, Le Roi du Bateau) publish factual documentation, historical narratives, and geographical registries of European cultural heritage.
Inclusion in our archives does not constitute a commercial recommendation, formal survey, structural assessment, insurance valuation, or planning clearance. No information published on this platform may be relied upon as substitute for independent professional legal, architectural, engineering, surveying, or nautical advice.
2. Provenance, Sources & Licences
Our archives are compiled from verified public cultural registers and open heritage authorities, including the Base Mérimée / Ministère de la Culture (Licence Ouverte 2.0), Wikidata (CC0), and Wikimedia Commons (under the specific Creative Commons licence indicated on each image record).
While we take meticulous care to ensure factual integrity and cross-examine public records, we give no warranty that every record is free of historical or clerical error. Verifiable corrections can be reported to our editorial desk.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The distinctive visual design, typographic system, curated editorial essays, custom data schemas, and proprietary compilation of the Le Roi du Monde platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Meijer Projectontwikkeling B.V..
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Systematic scraping, mass automated extraction, or unauthorized commercial replication of our editorial dossiers is prohibited.
4. Le Cercle du Roi Professional Network
Le Cercle du Roi (lecercleduroi.com) operates as a curated professional directory and introduction service connecting estate custodians with heritage craftsmen, restorers, and specialists.
Le Cercle du Roi facilitates qualified introductions but does not act as contractor, guarantor, or certifier of works. Any contracts, restoration commissions, or commercial agreements entered into following an introduction are strictly bilateral agreements between the patron and the specialist.

These Terms of Use and any disputes arising out of or related to this platform shall be governed exclusively by the laws of The Netherlands.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court of The Hague (Rechtbank Den Haag), The Netherlands.
